I sleep towards the side of the bed and it's beginning to slope after only 4 months. We spent a lot of $$$$$$$$$ on this mattress and it just didn't meet my expectations. If you sleep dead center it's great, but there's 2 of us.

I have less back & hip pain moving positions. Waking up has been great instead of wondering what will hurt next. Adding an adjustable base is ice cream to the treat. Very happy with my mattress!

The proadapt is a firm mattress and I thought as time progressed it would soften up, it has not. I should have went with the hybrid or soft. The salesman was not helpful either so I'm not sure if it's just my mattress or I got a bad batch. The quality is there just not comfortable for my sleep pattern unfortunately.

I find that sleeping on my stomach, my hips sink in further as I heat up in the night and creates an arched back. If I try sleeping on my side, my shoulder is in bad pain in the morning. I cannot win in this bed. I enjoy laying in the bed while awake but this bed is not meant for me.

I have back issues and the firmness of the Tempurpedic really helps. My first Tempurpedic mattress lasted 23 years, which is amazing for a mattress. I hope this one can last just as long! These mattresses are really pricey, but considering how long they last, I was willing to splurge on a new one. I took away one star only because it's hot to sleep on.

A very nice mattress and very comfortable. It really didn't take any kind of break in period. The only downfall of the soft version is the sides are super soft preventing me from really sitting on the edge of the bed. There is no support. It's a very pricey mattress, but if it lasts as long as my previous Tempurpedic, it's worth the price in the long run.

I spent a considerable amount of time looking at different mattress options. Prior to my purchase, I had a pillowtop mattress for about 17 years and it was absolutely time for an upgrade. I heard so many wonderful reviews of Tempur-Pedic being the best in the business, but I was not sure I was fully set on ordering a mattress without springs. I was nervous it was going to be too different from what I was used to. I decided on the Pro-Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress. I decided upon the hybrid model because it offers both the Tempur-Pedic construction (memory foam) in addition to the pocketed spring coils. This was a perfect fit for me as it combined the best of both options. Despite the higher price point, I purchased when Tempur-Pedic offered a sale. The durability, warranty, construction, and even delivery experience were top notch. I would definitely recommend trying their different models to decide upon the best fit for you. However, I would also highly recommend a Tempur-Pedic mattress to anyone on the search for something new (and in my opinion, the best)! Thanks Tempur-Pedic for allowing me to have the greatest nights of sleep!

We replaced a very nice but dated Ca King with the Tempur-pedic Proadapt Firm.
I was starting to have lower back issues because I sleep on my stomach. The Proadapt prevents my back from sagging and contours to whatever position I'm in. I woke from our first night sleep with no back pain and a great night sleep. My wife also loves it mostly because she said I didnt snore.
Well worth the extra cost considering it will last longer than a standard old fashioned coil bed and we'll sleep more soundly.

This is our second Tempurpedic and we would not consider looking at any other mattress. Our first Tempurpedic lasted us over 20 years and when we moved, we opted to just buy a new one and leave the old one behind. This bed is just right! Not to firm, but not too soft. I love it! I already had a queen, but decided to move it to another bedroom and get a split king for the master bedroom. It's just as amazing as the queen. LOVE IT!

The following is an unsolicited personal review of our experience.
Purchased a Pro Adapt Firm from our local Mattress Firm, base, coverings- the whole enchilada. A little over two years into our ownership, this became the worse mattress ever purchased. This one was to replace a Sealy we owned prior to this purchase that completely disappointed. When we reached out to Sealy, I was told that "comfort is not a warranty item." Unbeknownst to me, Tempurpedic and Sealy are the same corporate umbrella. What could go wrong?
Back to our ProAdapt. With just over two years in, it started to get soft, and I mean VERY, VERY soft. We reached out to Mattress Firm, who of course sent us to Tempurpedic. I suppose the touted ten-year warranty advertised all over their website and ads is not a concern of theirs once you pay them. A couple of exchanges with Tempurpedic, sending all their required documentation, removing the bed from the adjustable base, photographing everything from every angle and submitting photos, as well as doing their "test" got us a big fat nowhere! Denied on initial warranty claim, and on a secondary review.
The point of concern on the warranty, this expensive sleep system, is so soft, it is like sleeping on bags of old rags. The foundation, which I assume is the memory foam, now increasingly causes the sleeper to sink into the bed. The decay of the construction, then causes you to be enveloped into the bed, losing all of their engineered "cooling." All in all, a horrible sleeping experience now increasing to present day and requiring us to be on the move shopping for another mattress.
I did forget to mention, the "test" they ask you to perform on this sleep system I believed was developed by the space program; A broom stick across the bed with a quarter to show any dips or indentations. All the engineering from the space program, and we have devolved to broom sticks and a quarter. I did present photographic evidence of a professional carpenter's level across the bed and the amount of elevation required on the edge to bring the bubble to plumb. As well as the carpenter's level on the base without the mattress to show it is plumb level to begin with. They would have nothing of this engineer-based evidence, all they wanted was a broom stick with a quarter. So now again, we are shopping for a mattress to replace theirs's which I may add, cost more than my first automobile four years into ownership!
Do bad or imperfect items roll off the assembly line? You bet! But the salt and worth of any company is how they navigate and remedy those deficient products. After doing a deeper dive into customer reviews and ratings by testing websites on what I am experiencing; I suppose I can find comfort in knowing I do not stand alone. There are others out there. So my advice, based on my personal experience do your homework, check websites like NapLab and others to get real independent reviews and critiques of not only the products, but the company and their culture as well. For us, a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE after the sale.
And for the record, my first car, lasted me more than two years, without backache, shoulder and leg pain. Much longer. Good health and restful sleep to all.

Our family has been using TempurPedic mattresses for so long now that they just become our go to. Years ago, I bought a medium mattress for my elder mother who was having issues with her spine on conventional mattresses. At first, she pleased with me to return it as it was too hard. I told her to try it for 30 days as it would soften with time. About 3 weeks in, she told me she no longer was getting leg pain but she didn't attribute that to the mattress. I asked her if she still wanted me to return for a conventional spring mattress. She said she loved her bed. I bought another full bed for my spare room when she would visit as she didn't want to sleep on anything else.
I have purchased 2 queen size firm mattresses for our own bedrooms and we absolutely love them.

So far, so good. We bought a mattress from a major U.S. manufacturer that failed after 6 months. We replaced it with a ProAdapt firm, which so far has been excellent; firm support, but comfortable, it gives when and where you need it.
We're hoping that it stays that way long term.

I bought the medium Pro Adapt that I had tried in store and bought it during their closeout sale and because of that they said there is absolutely nothing they can do about it. I even asked if they could send me a mattress topper to make this bed more bearable and they said no but I could purchase one. My partner and I have been sleeping in this bed for over 2 months now so I would definitely say we've been breaking it in and it is used daily but we wake up with hip pain which has never happened to us before and the whole point in such a large investment because thousands of dollars is a lot of money for a bed for us and we are incredibly disappointed by the lack of support or resolution from Tempurpedic. I would highly suggest never ordering from them.

This mattress replaced my 15-year-old Cloud Lux Tempur-Pedic, which had become a little too soft for me after a back injury. I love that the medium firmness still feels plush and comfortable while giving me the extra support my back needs.
Paired with the adjustable base, it's become my favorite place to relax and unwind. The vibration feature and leg elevation help me get comfortable and fall asleep faster. I also added the cooling gel mattress pad, which has been a lifesaver for those random nighttime hot flashes!
I had put off replacing my old mattress for years, but the interest-free financing made it possible for me to finally invest in myself and my health without the financial stress. As an added bonus, I was able to get the sales tax refunded with a prescription from my doctor, which made the purchase even more affordable. Looking back, I wish I had done it sooner.
Needless to say, I spend a lot more time enjoying my bed on weekends-sleeping in, sipping my coffee, and soaking up the cozy atmosphere. It's easily one of my favorite purchases I've made for my home.

Ive had my Proadapt for a couple of months now, and in my option its not as good as the Beauty Rest hybrid that I had before this purchase. my beauty rest was half the purchase price. I was told the Proadpt would take some time to get used to, but I have had for a couple of months and I dont see a diffence, it seems to be hot not breathable and there is a dip in the middle of the matress.

I initially exchanged the TEMPUR-LuxeAdept for the TEMPUR-ProAdapt because the Luxe was not firm enough and caused significant lower back pain.
Unfortunately, after sleeping on the TEMPUR-ProAdapt for the past six months, I am experiencing similar issues. I continue to have significant lower back pain, and I've noticed that the mattress surface is no longer flat and appears to be sinking in certain areas, which seems to be contributing to my discomfort.
At this point, I would like to request either a replacement or a refund. If your firm mattress options are still not providing adequate support, I would prefer to discuss a refund.
